juncture
Exhibition catalogue
2025-2026
Limited first edition: 100 numbered copies
Women, children, men, snakes, birds, horses, weapons, the moon…
All recur in a narrative that continues to evolve.
I have my own views on what these paintings are about, but make no comment, as I want others to find meaning within them.
Over 30 years of work and the story continues.
This is where you find me now.
About the catalogue
The juncture catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of the same name at Junction 142 Art Space, Katoomba. It documents a body of work brought together over more than three decades of painting.
In addition to reproducing each exhibited work, the catalogue includes individual essays that place the paintings within the broader context of my creative practice. Together they form a record of a particular moment in an ongoing body of work.
Like my writing, these paintings were created without predetermined meanings or symbolic intentions. Looking back across the work, recurring images and themes become apparent—not because they were consciously pursued, but because they repeatedly surfaced through the creative process itself.
Released in a limited first edition of one hundred numbered copies, the juncture catalogue accompanies both the exhibition and the launch of The Flying Mile, recording where my painting and writing have arrived at this particular moment.

Short Film
Created in June 2026 to accompany the juncture exhibition and catalogue, this short film reflects on the recurring imagery that has surfaced throughout more than thirty years of painting.
